The Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas has designated $27,000 for Match Day 2017 scheduled for Tuesday, November 28th, on the National Day of Giving! Our organization has an endowed fund with the Community Foundation and this is a wonderful opportunity for us to grow our fund! Can you help us?

 

If we receive a donation from you to our endowment fund, the Community Foundation will provide a pro-rated match, based on a percentage of total donations received!

 

A $27,000 match pool will be divided between the participating organizations in proportion to the total amount raised. 100% of your donation PLUS the match amount will be placed in our organization’s endowed fund. The match will be pro-rated on a percentage basis to determine how much of the match money an organization receives, not to exceed 20% of the total match.

 

Our organization’s endowment fund is invested for the purpose of producing present and future income annually for distributions to be used for operating and programming. Making a donation that goes toward our savings will help us to enrich our programs and provide an even greater impact over the years to come.

 

Please consider a donation to help us grow our long term savings! Here’s how:

• On November 28, Donations can be made on-line at www.southeastkansas.org. Click the Donate Now button, select the organization from the drop down menu and pay by credit card or PayPal.

• Bring your donation to the Community Foundation office at 100 S. Broadway, Suite 100, Pittsburg, KS (Commerce Bank Building, lower level) between 8:00am – 5:30pm by November 28th, or bring the donation to us and we will deliver it to CFSEK on November 28th.

• Mail a check to CFSEK, PO Box 1448, Pittsburg, KS 66762. Envelopes should be postmarked no later than November 28th to be eligible for the match.

Make checks payable to the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas, writing our Organization name in the memo line or check our fund name on the enclosed donor form.

Donations are tax deductible. Receipts will be emailed or mailed to you.
