The USD 250 Education Foundation is committed excellence in educational opportunities for all students through enhancement of school facilities, services, and programs. The foundation does this through teacher grants that provide a wide range of classroom supplies, field trips, and other tools to help students succeed.
These grants are available to schools, grade levels, departments, teachers, or other groups of educators within Pittsburg Community Schools, and are intended to be supplementary to the curriculum or co-curricular activities of the district.
Applications are due each year in November. Announcement of awards will be made to all applicants prior to winter break, and grants are awarded in January. It is expected that all expenditures of grant funds will be made prior to the end of the school term in May.
The USD 250 Foundation is unable to fund requests for transportation and technology.
2022 Teacher Grant applications are due November 18, 2022.
