We are committed to excellence in educational opportunities for all students through enhancement of school facilities, services, and programs. We make a difference through teacher grants that provide a wide range of classroom supplies, field trips, and other tools to help students succeed.

 

These grants are available to schools, grade levels, departments, teachers, or other groups of educators within Pittsburg Community Schools, and are intended to be supplementary to the curriculum or co-curricular activities of the district.

Applications are due each year in November. We'll announce award winners prior to winter break, and award the grants in January. Grant funds should be made prior to the end of the school term in May.

We are unable to fund requests for transportation and technology.
