Foundation awards $142,000 in scholarships to 74 PHS seniors
For 74 seniors at Pittsburg High School, their goal of earning a college degree has been made a bit easier thanks to $142,000 in scholarships awarded Sunday at the Pitzer Family Scholarship Event. Organized each spring by the USD 250 Foundation, the event is named for George and Billie Pitzer.
