4th Annual Night of Dragons planned to raise money for scholarships, grants

Reservations are on sale now for an event that supports scholarships for graduating seniors and teacher grants: the USD 250 Foundation’s 4th Annual Night of Dragons, planned for 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, at Crestwood Country Club.
Attendees at Night of Dragons will enjoy food, beverages, silent and live auctions with numerous items contributed by local businesses, a live scholarship drive, and social time.
The impact of the evening is far reaching: in 2024, the Foundation was able to award $33,000 in Night of Dragons scholarships alone!
Single reservations are $75, with varying levels of additional support up to $5,000. Reservations may be purchased until Feb. 19 at usd250foundation.org/nightofdragons

About the Foundation:
The Foundation was founded in 2000 by a group of community members and the school board to provide enriched educational opportunities for Pittsburg students through annual senior scholarships, annual teacher grants, and enhanced school facilities, services, and programs. The registered non-profit organization is an avenue for private donations to support these efforts.
Since its inception, the direct impact of the Foundation has included:
Nearly $800,000 awarded in scholarships to graduating Dragons
Nearly $250,000 distributed to innovative USD 250 educators
60+ graduating seniors awarded scholarships each year,
25+ classrooms supplemented by grants each year
